Mr. Cole serves as construction project superintendent for GMK with responsibility for on-site coordination and management of construction tasks in accordance with design plans, specifications, and other construction documents. He oversees field personnel and specialty subcontractors to ensure projects are completed on budget and on schedule in a manner that ensures site safety and regulatory compliance. Mr. Cole has a total 30+ years of relevant experience in construction oversight and facility maintenance, including over 15 years as a GMK project superintendent. With GMK, he has been primarily responsible for healthcare-related (hospital, surgery center, medical office, and senior living) projects. His strengths include team communication and subcontractor coordination to meet and exceed Owner expectations. Mr. Cole has previously served as a project superintendent for multiple general contractors operating throughout the Carolinas, as well as an on-site professional resource for housing maintenance and public works for both Shaw Air Force Base and the Charleston Naval Base. His professional training includes construction industry-related coursework at Trident Technical College covering subjects such as industrial communication and lecturing, technical mathematics, mechanical drawing, and blueprint reading, among other topics.
