Since 1987, GMK’s Construction Services Division has managed the completion of more than 400 projects valued at nearly
$1.5 billion. All of these projects reflect true project management. Our track record for bringing projects in on-schedule and within budget is unsurpassed in the industry. The GMK Construction Services Division was awarded the 2001 Construction Management Association of America’s South Atlantic Chapter Project Achievement Award for Public Projects over $20 million for their work in the Richmond County School System, Augusta, GA.
GMK Associates’ Construction Services Division is a full-service entity, offering its clients a unique blend of professional design and technical and construction expertise. Because this division is a part of the greater GMK whole, construction clients are able to access “in-house” resources throughout the entire building management process.

Services Design-Build
Under the Design-Build Method, GMK assumes total responsibility for project planning, design, scheduling, value engineering, cost control and construction. GMK handles all details, ensuring the project is completed on time and within budget. Under the Negotiated Method, owners benefit from GMK’s extensive computer cost and scheduling systems and value engineering.
Using the Design-Build alternative, owners find that they can reduce the amount of time and money required to transform an idea into a finished project. Project scope can be determined and budgets established through this relationship much more quickly than by conventional methods. In fact, GMK guarantees and will bond, if desired, the final price at the design-development stage of architectural and engineering drawings.
