Mr. Drayton serves as a project manager within GMK’s construction services division with responsibility for individual projects associated with large Capital Improvement Programs, primarily in the public education (K-12) sector. With 30 years of experience 28 years with GMK, Mr. Drayton assists in the development of designs and performs constructability reviews to confirm that all plans comply with the current building codes and client standards. He develops estimates and project budgets, as well as manages bids for the different components of work to be completed during construction. Mr. Drayton prepares schedules for the sequencing of work and assists in the coordination of work between the trades. He also tracks project-related correspondence, performs progress inspections, and serves as an advocate for the Owner throughout the entire construction process.  Mr. Drayton holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering Technology from Savannah State University and is a Licensed General Contractor in Georgia.
