Mr. Guido serves as a senior architect with primary responsibility for leading the architecture division’s design efforts in the government and educational market sectors. Mr. Guido possesses over 24 years of architectural industry experience and is proficient in all phases of project development. He has proven abilities in providing high-quality designs that meet delivery schedules and construction budgets. His experience includes work for multiple state and federal agencies, primary and secondary educational institutions, military agencies, and commercial sector clients. Since joining GMK, Mr. Guido has led the firm’s design efforts for the South Carolina Military Department for major renovations to five separate South Carolina National Guard facilities across the state. He has also spearheaded GMK’s multiple elevator design projects for the South Carolina Department of Administration, as well as various task orders under indefinite delivery contracts with other South Carolina state government agencies. Mr. Guido holds a bachelor of architecture from Temple University and is a registered architect in South Carolina. He is a member of the American Institute of Architecture (AIA) and is certified through the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB). He is a board member on the City of Columbia’s Board of Zoning Appeals - Form Based Codes. He serves as a disaster and humanitarian relief services worker. Mr. Guido is also a Captain in the South Carolina State Guard Engineer Command.
