As a mechanical engineer for the firm with 24 years of experience, Mr. Ricard is responsible for all HVAC-related design for specific assigned projects. To ensure codes are followed, he coordinates closely with state and local governing authorities and evaluates facility systems in order to make certain the equipment is the most energy-efficient for the application. In accordance with the evaluation, he specifies equipment and performs field inspections of HVAC and plumbing installations. He has performed design work on multiple energy plant projects, and has worked on indefinite delivery/renovation projects such as office building renovations, HVAC renovations, outside air unit replacements, deferred maintenance and more. Likewise, he has been involved in multiple energy assessment/grant projects. Mr. Ricard is a registered professional engineer (SC) and a member of the American Association of Heating, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Engineers. He holds a bachelor of science in mechanical engineering from the University of South Carolina.
