Mr. Waltz serves as a project superintendent for complex construction projects under the purview of GMK’s design-build division. He possesses a total of 40 years of experience in the construction industry, 30 of which as a project superintendent with responsibility for construction completion in accordance with detailed design plans and specifications. Mr. Waltz joined GMK is 2005, and his project management skills and abilities have been instrumental in the successful completion of major projects ranging from hospitals, emergency medical centers, hospices, specialized medical treatment facilities, and other healthcare-related structures to multiple large-scale institutional and government construction projects. Prior to joining GMK, Mr. Waltz gained experience in construction oversight within the commercial/office and multi-family housing industries, as well as in water/wastewater treatment facilities. He further completed multiple projects on the US Department of Energy Savannah River Site. Mr. Waltz has been a licensed general contractor in South Carolina since 1994 and possesses extensive knowledge of relevant OSHA and other construction safety standards. He is further trained and certified in overseeing trenching and excavation operations.
