Ms. Usry is a contract administrator for GMK’s construction services division and is responsible for managing the day-to-day office operations of the GMK – Augusta, GA, office where we are currently in our 6th Phase of the Richmond County Board of Education’s Bond Building / SPLOST Program.   
She has over 33 years of experience, 25 years with GMK, in the construction industry with diversified experience in budgeting, cash flow management, financial analysis, marketing, management, insurance, and contract law.

Her tasks include the following program management / administration services: 
      

• Program / Project Budgeting and Financial Analysis for the Richmond County Board of Education Bond Referendum Programs totaling over $992M (Phase I - $115M, Phase II - $150M, Phase III - $194M Phase IV - $146 million, Phase V - $190 million and Phase VI - $197M).

• Contract Administration

• Submittal Services Management

• Program Project Planning

• Program / Project Scheduling using Primavera SureTrak

• Payment Administration

• Change Order Processing Oversight

• Contract Cost Accounting.  

• Working closely with the Maintenance / Facilities and IT Departments to ensure that the FF&E (furniture, fixtures and equipment), Maintenance and Operations, and IT expenditures stay within budget for each project.  

• Other duties include project assessment, local business participation management, website management, planning and assessment of needs for future projects, overseeing all project contract / budget closeout functions, and oversight of all insurance requirements for each project.

Ms. Usry is a member of the Construction Specifications Institute (CSI), where she obtained her Construction 

Document technologist (CDT) certification and has completed the course work to sit for the certified construction contract administrator (CCCA) exam.  She is also currently working toward a certified construction industry financial professional (CCIFP) designation.

She is a licensed realtor in the State of Georgia where she is a member of the Greater Augusta Association of Realtors, the Georgia Association of Realtors, and the National Association of Realtors.  In addition, Ms. Usry is a member of the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC); where she has served on the Board and has chaired several committees.  She previously held insurance licenses in the state of Georgia and South Carolina and is a graduate
of Augusta College with a degree in business / marketing management and Troy University with a degree in general education – leadership.
