Ms. Dole is a conscientious and thorough preconstruction professional with over 20 years of comprehensive experience in the commercial and industrial construction markets. She joined GMK in 2023 to provide collaborative preconstruction and cost estimating expertise, primarily in support of the firm’s design-build construction projects, as well as serve as a resource for GMK’s architecture and engineering divisions. Ms. Dole’s career path has developed her skillsets throughout the commercial construction market, providing her the knowledge of means and methods necessary to oversee the completion of any construction project within established budgets and schedules. She offers deep experience in all construction delivery methods, with high proficiency in design-bid-bid and design-build methodologies. Her cross-functional strengths include all preconstruction activities, from initial project conception through project feasibility, rough order of magnitude (ROM) or guaranteed maximum price (GMP) development and assembly of construction contractor/subcontractor teams, to the final stages of contract negotiations and transition to the project execution team. Prior to joining GMK, Ms. Dole served in diverse roles as a cost estimator, project manager, construction administrator, and preconstruction manager with respected general contracting, specialty construction, and professional design firms located in North and South Carolina. Ms. Dole holds an associate degree in architectural engineering technology from Midlands Technical College. She is also designated as a Construction Documents Technologist (CDT) through the Construction Specification Institute (CSI) and is a LEED® Accredited Professional through the Green Building Certification Institute (GBCI).
