Mr. Williamson serves as a project manager for the firm’s design-build division with responsibility for overseeing the on-site, day-to-day construction efforts to ensure end-product quality and to maintain critical path construction schedules. Mr. Williamson recently rejoined GMK to focus on project management for a variety of GMK’s projects in the healthcare, government, and private sectors. In his previous stint with GMK, Mr. Williamson spent 6 years primarily supporting the firm’s interior design division’s construction projects within the senior living and hospitality industries. For example, he served as the site superintendent/manager on four separate phases of GMK’s renovation/construction projects for the Grace Ridge Retirement Community in Morganton, NC. Mr. Williamson possesses a total of over 22 years of relevant experience in the construction industry and has served as a foreman for general and specialty construction contractors in addition to his current project management role. His background includes serving as a construction foreman for a multitude of healthcare-related projects such as medical office buildings, diagnostic facilities, hospitals, and hospice/palliative care facilities, among others.
