Ms. Ling serves as the director of GMK’s interior design division with responsibility for the strategic vision and growth of the Interiors Studio, day-to-day oversight of the division’s design teams and individual project commissions. Ms. Ling is a dynamic design team leader with expertise in all phases of project interior design, management, and execution. Over her 14-year career in the interior design industry (with a primary focus on the national and international hotel and residential design markets), she has proven skills in developing forward-looking and unique design concepts, effectively coordinating collaborative design teams, managing critical project schedules and budgets, and maintaining strong client relationships through project completion. Prior to joining GMK in 2022, Ms. Ling served as a principal and senior interior designer for a hospitality-focused start-up design firm in the Denver, CO, area. She has further previously served as a studio team lead and senior interior designer for other leading interior design firms based in Denver, CO, and Atlanta, GA. Ms. Ling is an NCIDQ-certified and licensed interior designer and holds a bachelor of arts in interior design (with a minor in communications) from Purdue University. She has also been an active volunteer for Habitat for Humanity and local animal rescue organizations.
