Stacey O’Neal
Project Manager
Mrs. O’Neal serves as a construction project manager in GMK’s construction services division and has 28 years of construction industry experience spanning the pre-engineered metal building manufacturing system through the large-scale general commercial construction contracting market sectors. She joined GMK in 2022 to oversee major capital improvement projects under GMK’s CM-Agent contract with Piedmont Technical College, as well as to support other large construction efforts within the construction services division’s purview. Over her career, Mrs. O’Neal relevant experience includes successfully managing construction efforts ranging from $800,000 up to $90 million across the education, retail, industrial, commercial, and disaster recovery areas. Her core competencies include complex project coordination/administration, contract/subcontract negotiations, budget/quote estimates, client relations, vendor/supplier negotiations and oversight, schedule management, change order management, and construction site safety and quality control. Mrs. O’Neal specific project experience includes educational facilities (higher ed and K-12), historic structures, transportation infrastructure, industrial/manufacturing facilities, and various commercial/retail buildings. After attending Francis Marion University, Mrs. O’Neal began her career in production control for a manufacturer of pre-engineered structures and progressed to senior-level project management roles for multiple major general contractors in the Southeast.
