As a mechanical engineer, Mr. McDaniel develops designs for the installation of various mechanical systems for new and renovated facilities. He possesses over 16 years of experience in mechanical and process engineering with an emphasis on HVAC system design as well as new product development, process improvement, quality and safety assurance, and lean manufacturing. He has supported over a dozen major renovation and new construction projects with GMK. Prior to joining GMK, he served as a mechanical engineer responsible for the design of HVAC systems for commercial and industrial projects primarily within the education, healthcare, office, and warehouse markets. Mr. McDaniel is a registered professional engineer in South Carolina and holds a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering from Clemson University. He is also an active member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE).
