Clinton S. Earnest
Electrical Engineering Associate
Mr. Earnest offers five years of engineering and project management experience, with an emphasis on team leadership, design development and review, regulatory compliance, planning, scheduling and coordination. Mr. Earnest joined the GMK team in 2017 and has played a vital role in the production of plans and specifications for lighting, power, and communication system design for a range of clients and industries. Mr. Earnest has assisted in the design and development of plans for multi-discipline architecture/engineer projects ranging from new healthcare facilities to renovation of existing commercial spaces to HVAC renovations. He has also taken the lead in electrical-only projects ranging from communication system modifications to generator additions. He is proficient in both AutoCad and Revit and knowledgeable in lighting design software. Prior to joining GMK, Mr. Earnest held engineering positions at the V.C. Summer Nuclear Station, providing oversight for construction and engineering activities and developing regulatory required programs for the monitoring and maintenance of the Nuclear Plant’s critical systems. Mr. Earnest holds a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering from the University of West Florida and has earned the Engineer in Training (EIT) designation in South Carolina. He also served in the United States Navy as a surface warfare officer during Operation Enduring Freedom aboard the USS Gettysburg with responsibility for multiple electrical, computer, and communications systems.
