Lisa Ann Scott, Associate IIDA
Senior Interior Designer
Ms. Scott is an energetic, senior-level interior design professional responsible for leading complex project assignments as well as providing mentorship for junior members of GMK’s collaborative design teams. A detail-oriented designer with over 10 years of broad-based experience, Ms. Scott executes cohesive design concepts from finishes and architectural details, through procurement of FF&E and installation. Drawing from her previous experience in hospitality, high-end residential, multi-family, and senior living design, she excels at developing spatial adjacencies, interior architecture, and designing furnishing packages that align with each projects’ overall design aesthetic and brand story. Ms. Scott’s focus is that projects are not merely thoughtfully designed, but that these designs also meet budget constraints, construction timelines, and, most importantly, function well for community residents, staff, and guests. Her specific technical skills include schematic design, space planning, and programming development as she is adept in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Photoshop, renderings, and custom furniture design. Ms. Scott holds a bachelor of arts in interior architecture from the Interior Designers Institute (Newport Beach, CA) where she was on the graduating class Dean’s List and was presented with the Thonet Award for Service.
