Contract Administrator

With a strong background in administrative management and excellent organizational skills, Ms. Williams serves GMK’s design-build and architecture/engineering divisions as a contract administrator with responsibility for the tracking and managing of various contracting vehicles among GMK, Owners, and Subconsultants/Vendors. In this role, Ms. Williams creates, edits, finalizes, and executes AIA contracting documents (Part 1 Design and Part 2 Construction), tracks the status of active contracts, and coordinates contract-related communications/ correspondence among key project contacts. Her duties include generating, issuing, and tracking critical contract documentation such as daily logs, purchase orders, purchase requisitions, payment applications, certificates of insurance, and other contract forms. Ms. Williams is highly proficient in AIA Contract Documents software and related tools such as DocuSign, and she maintains and tracks both electronic and paper files relevant to contracts under her purview to ensure compliance with each contract’s terms and conditions. Prior to joining GMK in 2014, Ms. Williams gained diverse experience in office management, office administration, and accounting functions in a variety of corporate settings in the Columbia, SC, area. Ms. Williams holds a bachelor of science degree in sociology from Lander University, and she is also a Registered Notary Public in the state of South Carolina.
