Mr. Jordan joined GMK Associates in late 2021 to serve as an associate electrical engineer responsible for evaluating existing electrical systems and developing designs for new systems or system upgrades under the guidance of GMK’s senior engineering staff. His duties include analyzing project plans, designing electrical systems/components, developing system specifications, and writing engineering reports. Mr. Jordan is recent General Honors graduate of Clemson University (Honors College) with a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering and a bachelor of arts degree in performing arts (with an emphasis in audio technology). His areas of study included integrated system design, microcontroller interfacing, and analog design in music synthesis, in addition to acoustics, signals and systems, electronics, digital signal processing, random signal analysis, electronic composition and sound design, linear control systems, and studio recording. Mr. Jordan frequently made both the Dean’s List and the President’s List for academic achievement and was a drum major/member in the University Band, a section leader/member of the University Choirs, and manager/student music director for TIGEROAR, the University’s premier all-male a-cappella group. He was also music chair/member of Kappa Kappa Psi, the service and leadership organization that supports Clemson’s band program.
