Against the backdrop of incredible budget deficits, cuts to public school systems are deep, penetrating into both capital and operating budgets. Although central office and building administration funding is being reduced substantially to preserve positions in classrooms and schools, districts must still meet immediate and long-term needs. GMK knows finding a way to remain focused on all children and reach state and national benchmarks for student achievement is a heavy burden.
